Tonya Fuschtei
Co CEO / Creative Director
Tonya is a proud Adnyamathanha, Wangkangurru, and Ngāti Whātua woman with over 10 years of experience in the health sector. She is deeply passionate about building the capacity of First Nations professionals and communities through culturally grounded, systems-focused work.
Tonya has extensive experience in community consultation, resource development and facilitation, planning and delivery of sector gatherings, and providing intensive strategic support to Aboriginal organisations across Queensland.
In her current role as Health Programs Manager at Mookai Rosie Bi-Bayan, Tonya leads key portfolios including clinical governance, maternal and child health, cultural safety, program implementation, and service quality improvement. She plays a vital role in shaping service delivery models and supporting the organisation’s ongoing accreditation and operational reform.
Tonya’s work is grounded in cultural integrity and strategic insight, with strong capabilities in policy development, grant writing, project design, program monitoring, and evaluation, particularly within Cape York and other remote communities.

Tiana Thomas
Co CEO / Strategic Director
Tiana is a Kuku Yalanji, Yithuwarra and Bagaarrugu Aboriginal woman. Passionate and results-oriented, Tiana brings extensive experience in strategic planning, project management, community engagement, and team management within the healthcare and social services sectors. Proven track record of driving initiatives to enhance community well-being and mental health. Skilled in grant writing, contract report writing, facilitating consultations, business planning, and co-designing initiatives with and for First Nations people. Committed to First Nations cultural competence and operating within a trauma-informed framework. Tiana is known for effective communication and collaborative engagement.
